Prescrio is a clinical prescription and clinic-management platform used by registered medical practitioners and their authorised staff in India. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, how we handle information.

- Patient information entered by the clinic (name, age, gender, contact details, medical history, allergies).
- Appointment details.
- Prescriptions and related clinical notes created through the Service.
- Clinic and doctor contact details.
- Account and login information, including basic security logs.
2. How we use information
- Managing appointments.
- Generating and sharing prescriptions.
- Day-to-day clinic operations.
- Account security and fraud prevention.
- Customer support.
- Meeting legal and regulatory obligations.
3. Consent and clinic responsibility
Clinics and doctors are responsible for obtaining patient consent where required by law or professional guidance. Prescrio acts as a software platform that supports clinic operations; it does not collect patient consent directly from patients on the clinic's behalf.
4. Children's data
Where a patient is a minor, the treating clinic is responsible for obtaining guardian consent in line with applicable law. Prescrio does not use children's data for advertising or behavioural profiling.
5. Retention
Some records may be retained to comply with legal, regulatory, or medical record-keeping obligations, and deletion requests may be limited where the law requires continued retention. See our Data Retention Policy for details.
6. Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls, and reasonable safeguards to protect information processed through the Service. Further detail is available in our Security Policy.
7. Our approach to privacy
